Green Bay opens the 2026 regular season on Sunday, against the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:25 p.m. Central time, and the game will be televised on CBS.
It will be the first of two meetings between the NFC North rivals this season.

When is the next Packers game?
The Packers’ next game is the regular-season opener against the Minnesota Vikings.

Green Bay will remain on the road the following week, traveling to New Jersey to face the New York Jets on Sept. 20.

When is the Packers’ first home game?
Green Bay’s 2026 home opener comes Thursday, Sept. 24, against the Atlanta Falcons.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. Central at Lambeau Field. The game will stream on Prime Video as part of the NFL’s Thursday night schedule.
That gives Green Bay an unusual opening stretch with two road games before its first home game.
The Packers then travel to Tampa Bay before returning to Lambeau Field for an Oct. 11 game against the Chicago Bears.

When do the Packers play the Bears?
The Packers and Bears will meet twice in 2026.
Chicago travels to Lambeau Field on Sunday, Oct. 11. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:25 p.m. on FOX.
The Packers travel to Soldier Field for the rematch on Christmas Day, Friday, Dec. 25. That game is scheduled for noon and will stream on Netflix.
When do the Packers play the Lions?
Green Bay’s first game against Detroit comes on Sunday, Oct. 25, at Ford Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:25 p.m. on FOX.
The Lions will visit Lambeau Field in Week 18.
The NFL has not yet announced the date, kickoff time or television network for the regular-season finale. Week 18 scheduling is determined late in the season so the league can place games with playoff implications into appropriate time slots.
When do the Packers play the Vikings?
Green Bay opens and closes its 2026 series with Minnesota before Thanksgiving.
The first game is Sept. 13 in Minneapolis.
Minnesota visits Lambeau Field on Sunday, Nov. 15, for a noon kickoff on FOX.
That means the Packers will have completed both games against the Vikings by Week 10.
Packers have several prime-time and holiday games
The Packers will again be featured heavily outside the traditional Sunday afternoon window.
Green Bay is scheduled to play Atlanta and Carolina on Thursday nights, Dallas and Buffalo on Sunday nights and Houston on Monday night.
Two more games fall on unusual days.
The Packers play the Los Angeles Rams on Wednesday, Nov. 25, with the game scheduled to stream on Netflix.
Green Bay then travels to Chicago for a Christmas Day game against the Bears, also on Netflix.

Can Packers game times change?
Yes.
The NFL uses flexible scheduling during portions of the season, meaning some games can be moved to different kickoff times or television windows.
According to the Packers, flexible scheduling can be used for Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football and Thursday Night Football during specified portions of the season.
Week 18 is handled differently. The Packers’ home game against Detroit currently has no assigned date, time or network.
Fans making plans later in the season should check the Packers or NFL schedule before game day for possible changes.
