Marking the 24th year of the program, Deloitte has officially released its 2026 Wisconsin 75 list, honoring the state’s largest closely held and privately owned businesses under the theme “Powering economies, strengthening communities.”

Collectively, this year’s 75 honorees employ 286,877 professionals and generated $235 billion in aggregate revenue. That performance reflects a 4% year-over-year revenue increase. Executive optimism remains high across the private sector, with 88% of surveyed Wisconsin 75 companies reporting high confidence in their business outlook over the next 12 months and 81% anticipating continued top-line revenue growth.

“In a rapidly evolving economic landscape, Wisconsin’s largest privately held companies have once again demonstrated resilience and strategic foresight,” stated P.J. DiStefano, Deloitte LLP Wisconsin Managing Partner. “These figures are not just metrics; they represent a major economic engine driving progress, prosperity and stability across our entire state.”

2026 Program Eligibility Standards

To qualify for consideration in the annual ranking, participating companies must meet four core criteria set by Deloitte:

  • Location: Must be headquartered in Wisconsin.
  • Ownership: Must have majority ownership (50+ percent) held by an individual, family, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), or private equity firm. Public companies qualify only if greater than 50 percent of the voting value or stock shares remain in the hands of individuals, families, ESOPs, or private equity.
  • Sales Threshold: Must generate at least $50 million in annual sales revenue matching financial statements. Companies are ranked strictly by revenue. Parent organizations submit consolidated aggregate totals encompassing all subsidiaries.
  • Industry Exclusions: Cooperatives, along with accounting, tax, legal, and consulting service firms, are excluded. Each candidate designates a primary industry sector.

2026 Distinguished Performer Honorees

Beyond the primary revenue list, Deloitte’s panel of independent business judges named five organizations as 2026 Distinguished Performers across core operational pillars:

  • Commitment to Sustainability: Findorff (Madison) — recognized for launching its comprehensive sustainability report, expanding hybrid equipment usage, building solar microgrids, and driving LEED Platinum projects.
  • Inclusive Culture: Hooper Corporation (DeForest) — honored for its workplace safety, mental health support programs, respectful collaboration, and union/supplier diversity partnerships.
  • Community Champion: West Bend Insurance Company (West Bend) — celebrated for raising over $5 million through its Silver Lining Classic, awarding $3.4 million in charitable foundation grants, and contributing over 8,500 volunteer hours.
  • Next-Gen Leadership: Great Northern (Appleton) — recognized for its enterprise Leadership Development Cohort program and technical college partnerships for frontline supervisors.
  • Innovation: Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC (Arcadia) — awarded for its global automation, deploying nearly 500 manufacturing robots, AI-driven supply chain forecasting, and proprietary smart factory technologies.
